Toray (PVDF) Ultrafiltration Membranes

Toray's PVDF hollow fiber membrane module effectively removes suspended solids and microorganisms such as pathogens when used for a variety of water treatment methods. & Nbsp; This innovative membrane module has been used by Toray Industries, Inc. for over 30 years in polymer science and has been developed with accumulated membrane production technologies.

Toray Pressurized UF Membrane Modules

  • The material of Toray's Hollow Fiber (HF) Pressure Ultrafiltration (UF) modules is PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride). This top grade HF membrane material provides high mechanical strength and chemical resistance (oxidation, pH).
  • The filtering mode is an Outer and Dead End Filtration. This filtering method offers simple operation control and low energy consumption.
  • The possibility of filtration of Groundwater, Surface Water, Sewage Secondary Wastewater and Seawater allows for a wide range of different applications:
  • Drinking Water Production
  • Tertiary Treatment of Wastewater
  • RO Pretreatment in Seawater Desalination
  • Industrial Water Production
  • Reuse of Industrial Waste Water

  • Toray's Pressure Series has been certified as an acceptable filtration technology for compliance with the Certifications below.
  • AMST (Japan's Membrane Separation Technology Association)
  • ANSI / NSF STANDARD 61
  • CDPH (California Department of Public Health - Drinking Water Program)
  • KWWA (Korea Water and Wastewater Works Association)
  • Reuse of Industrial Waste Water
