Sand Filtration Systems

When an industrial sand filter system is correctly selected and operates efficiently, the load on other treatment systems will be reduced. Industrial sand filter systems remove undissolved suspended solids, preventing blockages in machinery and installations and increasing energy consumption.
The system is constructed by placing multiple layers of varying granulometry within the casing. Filtration sensitivity in the Multi Media Filter is below 15-20 microns. During the service period, particles trapped between the filter layers are filtered and discharged during the backwash period, cleaning the filter material and refreshing the media. Automation of these filters is generally achieved with automation valves such as Clack, RUNXIN, etc., while electric actuator valves and PLCs are used as alternatives for high flow rates.
